All sections of this product group (orchid, rustic, traditional & sussex) are manufactured using a solid composite engineered construction with all exposed surfaces generously faced with real oak. The sealed glass units encapsulate the individual camings to maintain the quality look as well as for easy cleaning and are generously silicone sealed into place. Supplied natural for individual finishing.

 

All external doors are supplied 45mm thickness

 

It is not intended or advisable for these oak doors to be fully exposed to the worst elements of our climate, even if they are well coated. Oak is a by-word for strength and durability, but in practice, can be easily degraded and is most vulnerable if constantly exposed to rain or hot sun. It is essential these doors are set back from the front face of the building or covered by a canopy or porchway, projecting not less than about 1.5M.
